: The closest airport to Haboro is Asahikawa Airport, which has daily flights to and from Tokyo and Osaka. Alternatively, if you fly in to New Chitose Airport which is the main airport in Hokkaido, the most convenient way to get to Haboro is via Hokkaido Expressway.

: If you have your own car, taking the car ferry to Hokkaido is a great way to see the countryside at your own pace. Otaru, the city of canals, is the closest port to Haboro, and you can take the coastal road by the Japan Sea to get to Haboro. When visiting from Tokyo, Tomakomai ferry port is the main route, with Hokkaido Expressway providing the perfect link to getting here.

: You can now travel by train directly to JR Sapporo Station from mainland Japan. Transfer to the Hakodate Honsen line in Sapporo and then transfer to the Rumoi Honsen line at JR Fukagawa Station. Get off at JR Rumoi station and take a local bus to Haboro. (There is also a direct bus from JR Sapporo Station to Haboro.)
